Parkhurst Village Fair 2009
This year saw Parkhurst’s best fair ever. It was held on the 30th of August and it turned out to be a beautiful Spring Sunday. The fair was organised by Vanessa Mahomed (082 341 5256) who did a great job and was sponsored entirely by Nan Roberts Estates and NYPD Armed Response.
There were about 1500 visitors to this years fair with around 60 stall holders pitching stalls. All in all around R15000 was raised for the PVRA.
This year saw several fun activities taking place with a tug of war, fun run , children’s singing competition, children’s bungee area and mechanical bull all helping to keep visitors busy. “Castle Corner” beer tent also drew a roaring trade in the hot sun!
