5th Ave / 22nd Street Park Upgrade
We have approached Tim Truluck who spearheaded Verity Parks upgrade with the idea of upgrading this small park. It is under used but an important link to Delta Park with the suburbs of Victory Park, Craighall Park and Blairgowrie on its borders. Michael Capela often uses this park himself to enter Delta Park for his morning running route. The Council has been approached and permission given to Nan Roberts Estates to facilitate and sponsor some of the possible upgrades.
This community project is still in the planning stage but input and donations from residents would be appreciated.
We have identified the basics we need:
Fix the railings? New benches? Some lighting, which we hope neighbours/residents will sponsor. New rubbish bins?
