Senior Citizens Tea Party - 2011
This year the ‘Senior Citizen’s Tea Party’, sponsored and organised by Michael Capela, took place on Saturday the 26th February 2011 at the Parkhurst Primary School Hall. The Master of Ceremonies for the afternoon was Mrs Sue Briggs. Entertainment for the afternoon was provided by Ann Hamblin on piano and the Cabaret trio of Lesley Stephenson, Bronwen Hirshowitz and Barry Levin. Thank you to “Mama Katarina” for setting up the Hall.
Special thanks to all those Parkhurst Traders who donated gifts for the Senior Citizens: Senses Florist (flowers) Sugar ‘n Ice (cakes), Solly Kramers, Moi, The Love Generation and Susan Hughes Interiors, The Parkhurst Bookshop; Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
A lovely afternoon was had by all and a Big Thank You Parkhurst Primary school students for every effort and assistance in making this day such a welcoming and fun afternoon for the Parkhurst Seniors.
